Financial Commitment for 2007-2008
(September 4, 2007 - May 30, 2008)
HOLIDAYS: Labor Day (Sept. 3), Thanksgiving (Nov. 22 - 23), Christmas & New Year’s (Dec. 22 - Jan 6), Easter (March 17-23), Memorial Day (May 26), Independence day (July 4). There will be no classes held on these holidays. Tuition is due as usual.
There are four categories of fees. (Please pay for each category separately).

- Tuition
- Performance Fee
- Costume Fee
Those in Mommy & Me, Creative, Technique, Floor Exercises, Cardio, Composition and Ballroom classes only need to pay for the first two categories.
1. Annual Registration Fee

2. Tuition
- Tuition fees are non-refundable and will not be pro-rated for absences or holidays.
- Fees cover three to five lessons per month as well as preparation time for lesson planning, choreography, scheduling, bookkeeping, props, music, liability insurance, correspondence, etc.
- If classes are missed, students may take make-up classes of the same or lower level.
- Discounts are given when tuition is paid in advance or through automatic recurring subscriptions.
- Monthly tuition is based on the total number of hours of dance that your family takes each week. Total up the number of hours of dance for your family and find that number on the left and then find the corresponding monthly tuition cost on the right.
THREE OPTIONS FOR PAYING TUITION:
- ONE PAYMENT PLAN: 10% discount when one tuition payment is made for the entire nine months. Payment is due September 15th.
- MONTHLY PAYMENTS with automatic deduction: Tuition is due by the 7th of each month. The preferred method when paying tuition on a monthly basis is to pay with automatic payments called “recurring payment”. Your bank will automatically transfer your tuition rate to Soaring Spirit through PayPal. Get a $20 discount on your first month’s tuition if you sign up for this option.
- MONTHLY PAYMENTS with checks or monthly PayPal payments that are not automatic: Tuition is due by the 7th of each month and is considered late beginning on the 8th. Please make checks payable to Soaring Spirit and leave in the black payment box in the studio, or pay monthly through PayPal by going to our website each month and click on “Pay for classes online”. Find the appropriate amount due according to number of hours of dance that your family takes each week and click on “add to cart”.

3. Costume Fee
$50 - $75 per class, Due: November 1, 2007
Dancers will need a costume for each class they are enrolled in. (The exceptions are: Mommy & Me, Creative, Technique, Floor Exercises, Cardio, Composition and Ballroom classes). We are going to try and re-use as many costumes as possible to avoid these fees, but still will likely need to order some costumes.
4. Performance Fee
$25 per dancer, Due: December 1, 2007
This fee pays for participating in one or more performances during the year.

Referral Credit
You will receive a referral credit of $20 for each new student you refer to Soaring Spirit who enrolls in our classes. Please deduct $20 from your tuition payment and indicate the name of the student you’ve referred. Thank you!
