He is always listening no matter where you are or what you are doing.

It does not matter if your friends are not around or your parents are busy...

God will listen when you need to talk. Your prayers are special to Him.

A Birthday Celebration!

On Christmas morning what do you find under your tree?

Most of us do not have a birthday on that special day-who's birthday is it though?

It's Jesus' birthday, and He is God's own Son.

God sent him from heaven to live on earth.

Baby Jesus was placed in a manger filled with hay by Mary and Joseph.

Jesus grew up to be our Savior.

His birthday is the most important birthday of the whole year!

"Today in the town of David a Savior has been born to you; he is Christ the Lord."

Luke 2:11

Prayer:

Thank you, Jesus, for coming to earth.  I love celebrating your birth!

Giving Thanks

We have so much to be thankful for.

Do you remember to thank God for all the good things he does?

God loves you so very much and He takes good care of you too!

The good things he gives are called blessings.

God wants us to be Thankful!

“Give thanks to the Lord, because he is good.

His faithful love continues forever.”

Psalm 118:1

Bring a Friend Week

Dancing is Fun...but even more fun with Friends!

♥♥♥♥ Teaching Others ♥♥♥♥

 We all have so many teachers...at school, Sunday School, dance, music, home, and many other places too.

We can be teachers too...and we don't need to wait until we grow up!

One of the most important things to teach our friends and family - is to Love God.

They will learn about God's kindness and love when we teach them how to love and obey God.

There are many great things to teach, but this is the best:

Teach others to love God!

“I will teach you what is good and right.”

1 Samuel 12:23 

Dear God,

I learn so many things that are new.

Help me teach others to love you too.

Starting this new dance year, our Interim Studio Manager, Miss Amanda, will be preparing a monthly devotional scripture and thought for each student enrolled in Soaring Spirit classes.  In addition, the verse will be posted in the lobby.  Here are our September verse and prayer:

 Do you like to look at the stars? They are very far away.

But because they shine so brightly, we can see them.

What else shines and sparkles for us to see?

God wants you to shine brightly and sparkle like a star too.

He wants people to see how much you love Jesus and how kind you are.
